Hello 2020

A new decade – I have to be honest I’m not keen on them. 1990 saw husband number one killed, 2000 saw husband number two turn out to be the unfaithful, ‘my vows don’t mean anything to me‘ sort.

To be fair 2010 reversed the trend, so lets hope 2020 continues in the same way.

Christmas has been packed away – the decorations are back in the loft and all that remains is for the mountains of goodies that still remain to be eaten up. One advantage of December I find is how cheap the January food shops are as so much food is left my shopping bill goes down massively.

Not only have the Christmas decorations come down but I have also had a major decluttering and shredding session in the study. I can now see my desk and the mountain of paperwork that had piled up in my paper trays has been sorted and filed away or blitzed.

Tomorrow I tackle the studio.

I don’t do New Year resolutions but I do have a few goals for the year.

Primarily I aim to spend a lot more time out walking, taking photos, reading and stitching. The aim is to improve my fitness, which took a real dive in the wrong direction after Thomas arrived, lose some weight (ditto for explanation)and make considerable progress towards gaining my ARPS.

Time to put the new Fitbit to work and get out for a walk before I settle down to support Snakebite in tonight’s PDC final.
